CapStra was engaged to provide corporate real estate advice and project management services for NRMA’s new head office. NRMA’s objectives were to deliver an optimal workplace environment, that met their long-term accommodation requirements, and to provide operational flexibility.
Following an analysis of NRMA’s requirements, it was recognised that NRMA had an appetite and ability to acquire and develop its own premises. CapStra’s assignment included:
NRMA successfully undertook the turnkey purchase of a purpose-built commercial office building located at Sydney Olympic Park. CapStra was instrumental in providing advice to NRMA to modify the base building design of the façade and engineering systems prior to construction, to produce an optimal result for the client. The fitout was also integrated with the base building construction, providing significant savings from traditional contract arrangements that require rework from base building to fitout.
CapStra was engaged to formulate a strategy to secure a preferred alternative for the Pfizer Australia head office, as well as manage the design and delivery of the fit out at the new location.
